In an effort to enhance program quality, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology & Sciences SARSPU convened an Informational Meeting on the “Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) Accreditation Process” on April 2, 2024, held at the Conference Room,SARSPU . The esteemed Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, delivered a thought-provoking welcome address, emphasizing the significance of accreditation for engineering and technical education programs. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, presided over the meeting and provided a comprehensive presentation detailing the BAC Accreditation Process. Faculty leadership also contributed valuable insights. Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Dean, Faculty of Science & Engineering, Dr. Farooq Hossan Dean, Faculty of Business, and Syeda Afsana Ferdousi, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Science each offered perspectives on program accreditation within their respective faculties atSARSPU . Further enriching the program were the Dean of Faculties, Heads of Departments, and Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) representatives from various departments, including English, Social Work, Law, Business Studies, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Pharmacy, and Civil Engineering.
